MET Technician

Job description

We are recruiting for a talented and efficient MET Technician to join our skilled team. You will be preparing and finishing vehicles to the high standards expected by our customers within a state-of-the-art workshop, utilising modern equipment and techniques. Basic hours are 45hrs per week and overtime will be available subject to approval.

Day to day tasks:

• Diagnostic work & fault finding

• Stripping & fitting of body panels inline manufacturer repair methods

• stripping & fitting of SRS System inline manufacturer repair methods

• Stripping & fitting suspension components inline manufacturer repair methods

• Stripping & fitting engine parts inline manufacturer repair methods

• Imaging repair throughout the repair process

• Supporting parts department & engineering team with additional damages found

• Able to carry out wheel alignments

• ADAS/Radar Calibration experience would be beneficial (but essential)

• Knowledge of EV/Hybrid vehicles

*Note any experience supporting panel work with be beneficial but is not essential

About you:

You will have ideally served a recognised apprenticeship as a MET Technician and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / IMI / ATA) although individuals who have trained on-the-job or via other routes will also be considered.

You will work to a high standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
